Inspired by the District Development Project, yesterday, Tufulele celebrated the grand opening of their SAT$900,000 village pool, a milestone in their 10-year development plan. Attended by Prime Minister Fiame Naomi Mata’afa and Minister Mulipola Anarosa Ale-Molio’o, the event highlighted Tufulele’s commitment to social development and environmental stewardship.
This project was made possible through generous contributions from ADRA Samoa & New Zealand, the District Council, and other local supporters. The new pool features secure fencing, solar lights, small fales, and a community house—an investment that preserves the village’s rich heritage while fostering future growth.
