Today’s key stakeholder discussions, which will inform the GBV campaign’s focus, included important meetings with the Ministry of Police and the NGO Soul Talk Samoa.
The GBV campaign team met with Ministry of Police representatives, Superintendent Muaau Joe Taioalo, Head of Community Engagement Unit and Inspector Tofilau Junior Tofilau, Head of Domestic Violence Unit. They expressed full support for a unified effort and emphasised the need to align key messages for collective impact.
Additionally, community and EFKS faith-based leaders, Reverend Associate Professor Alesana Pala’amo and Lemau Pala’amo, representing NGO Soul Talk Samoa, stressed the importance of the campaign delivering practical, action-based messaging.
