The signing of the Funding Agreement between the Ministry and the Samoa Victim Support Group (SVSG) took place this morning.

This agreement guides the disbursement of the funding support by the government towards SVSG for their programs targeting ending violence, child protection, disability and community empowerment.

Over the years, SVSG has been working with the Ministry in its work on prevention and response to cases of violence and negligence affecting women, children and other vulnerable groups. The role of SVSG in achieving social development goals for Samoa is significant.
