New Pathway for Community Engagement and Data-Driven Solutions
The Ministry of Women, Community, and Social Development convened a dynamic meeting of Sui o Nu’u, Sui o le Malo, and Sui Tamaitai o Nu’u today, January 22, 2025, at To’oa Salamasina Hall.
This gathering provided a platform for impactful discussions and highlighted the Ministry’s commitment to addressing local challenges through innovation and collaboration.
Participants expressed their excitement about the introduction of a new data collection tool, part of the enhanced PMS (Performance Management System) framework. This tool promises to provide more accurate and actionable data, leading to better-informed projects tailored to address pressing local issues.
The meeting also facilitated valuable learning and development opportunities, empowering community representatives with skills and insights to drive meaningful change. MWCSD divisions facilitated discussions on Ministry 2025 focus, gender equality, economic empowerment, district development priorities and disability needs. As the Ministry continues to prioritize gender equality and holistic community development, this new approach marks a significant step forward in ensuring projects are effective and responsive to local needs.
